Community@Brighton

Community@Brighton is an online social network space, open to all members of the UoB. There are lots of other social networks open to the public at large. In C@B we can:

• have our own blog
• set up interest groups - explore Explore
• share media such as images, audio and video
•  

Some things to do

Set up your C@B Profile

Do: Your Stuff: Your Profile > Edit this profile

• put in as much or as little information as you like
• for each section you use, select one of the options under 'Access Restriction' depending on who you want to be able to see it
• if you enter a few 'Interests', these will appear on your Profile page; if they appear as links, you will find C@B offering you a selection of people who have similar interests

Make friends

Find people you know, or who have the same interests, either through a link or by putting their name in the Search box (top right), and do: You are here: Click to add this user as a friend

Join a Community group in C@B:

To find groups, do: Key Places: Explore > choose a letter from the alphabet > pick a group that interests you >

• have a look at the group's Profile and its Blog, see what it's doing
• if you wish to apply to join, do: You are here: click here to apply to join this community.
