What is a wiki?
A wiki is a website consisting of separate pages, which can be linked to each other as desired. The distinguishing feature of wikis is that they can easily be opened up to editing by a number of people, so paving the way for collaborative authoring. As with blogs, many wiki hosting sites now offer an easy-to-use editing interface, with basic word-processing tools.
As with blogs, wikis can be as open or as restricted as you wish.
This little site is a wiki, hosted at pbworks. So far we're just building it as a web-site, with the opportunity for SMiLE team members to contribute (see their individual pages).
